Jennifer is an assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota. With an interest in health communication and consumer psychology, her research projects have investigated various facets of direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical advertising. In particular, a primary focus of her research is the examination of emotional and cognitive factors impacting trust and credibility. Before pursuing her graduate degrees, Jennifer worked as a client service executive in market research advising clients on their marketing communications.
