Sharon Dotger, dual assistant professor of science education in Teaching and Leadership and the Department of Science Teaching, currently teaches physical science courses for students in the inclusive elementary program. Sharon is working to create a concentration in science for the elementary education students and expand course offerings. Her research focuses on applications of theories of adult learning and development to science instruction and elementary science teacher education. She is currently working closely with Syracuse City School District as a member of their ECLIPSE leadership team. Sharon is married and has two daughters and a chocolate lab. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys quilting and exploring the parks of central New York.
