Indiana University 1985 Major: Recreation and Park Administration Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) University of Waterloo 1984 Major: Recreation and Leisure Studies Minor: Business Administration. Dr. Kanters received his B.A. from the University of Waterloo and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Indiana University. Dr. Kanter's teaching emphasis is in sport management. His research interests focus on children's sport and physical activity behavior. Many of his projects examine factors contributing to positive youth sport experiences as well as programmatic strategies and policies to increase physical activity through sport.
