Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Agricultural Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign, Urbana, Illinois, May 2001 Dissertation Title: Automatic Navigation Control of an Agricultural Combine Key features of the project included the development of two novel machine vision algorithms, a fuzzy vehicle controller and an electrohydraulic steering controller. Developed an image processing system for automatic guidance of off highway equipment that included a patented fuzzy logic based adaptive illumination compensation system (US Patent 6,721,453).
