“We are pursuing both pathogen-directed and host-directed therapy for tuberculosis, based on our evolving understanding of the relevant host-pathogen interactions. Our interest in the biology of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in non-replicating states has extended to so-called "viable but non-culturable' forms.”
