Mezzo-soprano Mary Ann Hart has won numerous song competitions, including the Carnegie Hall International American Music Competition, Concert Artists Guild, and NATS Artist Awards; she also received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Professor Hart has appeared with the New York Philharmonic, Minnesota Orchestra, and American Composers Orchestra, among others, and has recorded for Chandos, Albany, Eterna, Arabesque, Telefunken-Decca, and Musical Heritage.
