SUSAN BRISON is Eunice and Julian Cohen Professor for the Study of Ethics and Human Values at Dartmouth College where she also teaches in the Program in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She has held visiting positions at Tufts University, New York University, and Princeton University, and has been a Mellon Fellow in the Program in Law, Philosophy, and Social Theory at New York University and an NEH-funded member of the School of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey.
