Professor Ehrenberg joined the department in 2012 after having taught at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. His primary area of interest is in philosophy of law, specifically issues relating to methodology, authority, the epistemology of legal evidence, and the relation of law to morality. He directs the department’s jurisprudence specialization and is currently at work on a book titled The Functions of Law, which is under contract with Oxford University Press.
