Professor David is currently the Collins Chair in Management. He teaches strategic management. His primary research interests are on the impact of corporate governance on corporate strategy and firm performance. His research has been published in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, and Journal of Management. He serves on the Editorial Boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, and Journal of Management Governance, and on the International Advisory Board of the Journal of Enterprising Culture. He has taught at the University of Oklahoma, University of Notre Dame, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Prior to joining academia he worked several years as an engineer in the power plant equipment industry. Degrees Ph.D. (Management), Texas A&M University; B.E.
