My research and teaching interests are in the general area of quantitative hydrogeology. I am most interested in problems that couple geologic information and observations with quantitative hydrologic models. One area of interest is the use of geologic information to improve our understanding of flow and transport process in heterogeneous sedimentary aquifers over a range of spatial scales. More recently, my research has focused on groundwater problems more prevalent in New England.
