Dr. Golden's research is focused on the development of a Sustainable System Theory (SST) and SST approaches and models to address the nexus of Supply Chain Management and Sustainability imperatives such as energy, earth resources, emissions and economics. His systems approach explores intervention leverage points that can be used to create a new generation of organizational and technological businesses and governmental policies. In 2009 Golden was awarded the Faculty Pioneer Award by the Aspen Institute for his leadership in the field of Sustainability Education & Research and was named by Ethisphere as one of the worlds most 100 influential people in business ethics.
