He is currently exploring the effects of gaining “distance” from one’s thoughts, or “self-distancing,” on strengthening human reflection, including the reduction of biased thought. He is also pursuing an empirical expansion to his philosophical work on happiness. He teaches Social Psychology, Cross-Cultural Psychology, and Research Issues in Social Psychology.
