Dr. Jane Okech is an Associate Professor and the Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research in the College of Education and Social Services. She is the immediate former Coordinator of the UVM Graduate Counseling Program. Her primary scholarly and research interests include group psychotherapy, especially the dynamics of group leadership, clinical supervision, diversity and multicultural counseling clinical competencies. Associated aspects of this research and scholarship agenda are practice based research and professional counseling practice standards. Her social and service interests include gender issues and education, civic engagement and the promotion children’s access to mental health services.
