Since his arrival at St. Thomas in 1987, Professor Hoffman has taught courses in American public policy, environmental and energy policy, and comparative politics. Before his appointment as chair, he was Director of the Environmental Studies program for ten years. Dr. Hoffman has conducted research and lectured in numerous countries and in 2005 was a Visiting Professor of Political Science at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He is also a Policy Fellow at the University of Delaware’s Center for Energy and Environmental Policy.
