Nancy Hill is the Ezerski Endowed Chair in the School of Accountancy and MIS. She holds a Ph.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is a CPA. Professor Hill has taught both undergraduate and graduate students for more than 20 years and is a recipient of the University’s Excellence in Teaching Award. In 2000, she was named the founding director of the Office for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (TLA), holding that role for six years. From 2006 to 2010, she served as Associate Dean for Academic Quality for the College of Business. Under her leadership, the TLA and the College made major advancements in providing services to faculty, and in assessing and improving student learning. Professor Hill has published more than 25 articles focused on managerial accounting, accounting education, assessment, ethics, and executive compensation. Her work appears in journals such as Issues in Accounting Education, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Research on Accounting Ethics, Journal of Business Ethics, Strategic Finance, Journal of Accountancy, and The CPA Journal.
