Richard Hricko has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally. His work is represented in many public and private collections, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Woodmere Art Museum, Delaware Art Museum, and International Southern Graphics Council. His awards include two West Virginia Arts and Humanities Council Artist-in Residence Grants, a Pennsylvania Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowship, National Endowment for the Arts/Mid-Atlantic Regional Artist Fellowship, Brandywine Institute Visiting Artist Fellowship, and several Temple University research grants. He is Professor and Program Head of Printmaking at Tyler School of Art, Temple University, where he has also served as Associate Dean, Graduate Program Director, and Department Chairperson. As co-founder and president of Crane Arts LLC, he is also engaged in the adaptive redesign and reuse of historic, industrial buildings for art and design production, national and international arts exhibitions and performances, and community-based arts projects. He holds a BFA degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology School of Art and Design and a MFA degree from Tyler School of Art of Temple University.
