Mark is an assistant professor in the Integrated Information Technology Program at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, where he teaches the Introduction to Information Technology, Advanced Networking and Telecommunications, Computer Hardware and Software Support, and Information Systems Management. He has a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University, an M.S. in E-commerce and a B.S. in Information Technology from Old Dominion University. His professional experience includes more than 10 years as a senior network engineer for Old Dominion University, where he oversaw the administration of more than 4,500 computer users, a dozen servers, and 300 workstations. At Old Dominion University, Mark also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems and technology, including computer programming, telecommunications, systems analysis and design, systems administration and information systems security.
