Susan Felleman is the author of three books, Real Objects in Unreal Situations: Modern Art in Fiction Films (Intellect 2014), Art in the Cinematic Imagination (Texas 2006) and Botticelli in Hollywood: The Films of Albert Lewin (Twayne 1997), as well as numerous other publications, including, recently, “Decay of the Aura: Modern Art in Classical Cinema,” in Jump Cut, and three book chapters: “A Little Infidelity: La femme infidéle becomes Unfaithful,” a speculative essay on cinephilia, memory and intextuality" in Cinephilia in the Age of Digital Reproduction: Film, Pleasure, and Digital Culture, Volume II, edited by Scott Balcerzak and Jason Sperb (Wallflower Press, 2012); “Two Way Mirror: Francis Bacon and the Deformation of Film,” in Film, Art, New Media: Museum without Walls?, edited by Angela Dalle Vacche (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2012); and “Remembering, Repeating, and Working Through: Three Screen Memories by Wago Kreider,” in Film Trilogies: New Critical Approaches, edited by Claire Perkins and Constantine Verevis (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2012). She is currently collaborating with Steven Jacobs on a book about sculpture and cinema.
