In 2008, I joined the College of Social Work in order to develop the Online MSSW program. It has been exciting to be apart of a wonderful team of professionals that have made our online program one of the very best in the country. I love my new role as Director of the Nashville MSSW program and enjoy teaching as well. An individualized approach to students is a huge part of the College's success, it is a great part of my leadership philosphy and is what students can expect from administration, faculty, and staff. My current course load includes Evidence Based Practice with Children and Adolescents, Social Welfare Policy and Practice, and Leadership. My research interest currently lies within best practices in online teaching. Lastly, I am the project director for the TIPS training grant which educates students on social work in integrated health care settings.
