Erin Henry joined UT’s Department of Accounting and Information Management after receiving her Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Connecticut. Erin holds a Bachelor's of Accountancy from Mississippi State University, and a M.S. in Taxation from the University of Memphis. She is also a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Tennessee (inactive). Prior to obtaining her Ph.D., Erin worked as a Tax Senior for Thompson Dunavant, PLC in Memphis, TN. In addition to her position at UT, she also holds an appointment as a Research Economist for the Internal Revenue Service's Statistics of Income division. Her research interests include the capital market implications of tax reporting and the impact of tax policy on firm behavior.
