Dr. Albrecht has been with UT since 1996. She currently serves as Associate Provost for Accreditation. She maintains her teaching program offering PLSC 328 Conservatories: Management, Operations, and Display and serves on graduate committees of those students working in public horticulture. Early in her career, she focused on flower physiology; today her interests focus on the history of horticulture and people-plant relationship. She is National President of Pi Alpha Xi, National Horticulture Honor Society, and archivist for the American Society for Horticultural Science.
