Lori Cranston joined the College of Public Health in January of 2015. Lori has been employed with the University of Iowa since 1995, serving in the Office of the Provost (2004-2014) and the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (1995-2004). Prior to the University, Lori was an auditor with the Office of the Auditor of State. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant. As associate dean for administration, Lori has responsibility for the administrative functions of the college including finance and purchasing, human resources, facilities management, and information technology. In addition to these administrative functions, she serves as advisor to the associate deans and also serves as the budget officer for the college.
