Yezen Kannan is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Accounting and IS division unit at Duquesne University. Professor Kannan teaches a course on Managerial Accounting, which provides an introduction to the use of accounting information for planning operations, controlling activities and evaluating the performance of an organization and it's subunits. He also teaches in Cost Accounting which focuses on developing and analyzing cost information for management decision making, using a variety of computer and quantitative techniques. Prior to joining Duquesne University, professor Kannan was a teaching assistant and a research assistant at Florida Atlantic University. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, and an M.S. in Accounting from Indiana University and a Bachelors degree in accounting from Yarmouk University-Jordan.
