Wenqi Zhou is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems Management in the Palumbo Donahue School of Business at Duquesne University. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems & Technology Management in 2013 from The George Washington University School of Business. Her research primarily focuses on understanding social, economic and managerial aspects of information technology and the Internet by analyzing large-scale online data. Her works have been published in Decision Support Systems, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Computer and leading Information Systems conferences including ICIS, CIST, and AMCIS, among others. Her research on online Word-of-Mouth received Best Paper Award at WeB 2012. She also received Duquesne University Presidential Scholarship Award in 2015 and George Washington University Information Systems & Technology Management Achievement in Research Award in 2013. At Duquesne, she teaches the introductory information systems course, and Systems Analysis and Design. Prior to joining the faculty at Duquesne, She also received systematic pedagogy training in Future Faculty Program at the George Washington University.
