Professor Amy Yurko has taught Financial Accounting at the University of Pittsburgh and Youngstown State University and Individual Tax Planning and Accounting at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research areas include Tax Accounting, Executive Compensation, Taxpayer Honesty and Reporting Behavior, The Relation of Corporate Governance and Executive Compensation Design, The Relation of Tax Behavior and Firm Performance and Investor Perception, Family Firms and the Influence of Ownership. Dr. Yurko is currently teaching Financial Accounting and will be teaching Corporate & Partnership Taxation and Individual Taxation at Duquesne.
