Dr. Michael Cahall arrived at Duquesne in the fall of 1991 after completing his doctoral studies in American History at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His previous education included at bachelor of arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University (1972) and Cooperstown Graduate Programs in History Museum Studies (1972-73). From 1973-1984 he was a museum curator and director at local historical societies in New York and Illinois. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Cahall served as Director of the Duquesne University Honors College from 2004 through 2010. He is the recruitment liaison for the College of Liberal Arts and the faculty advisor for the Duquesne University chapter of Mortar Board, the national senior honor society. He also serves on the Financial Aid Advisory Group.
