I believe EVERYONE can learn math. I enjoy teaching mathematics and love to work with students. Students in my classes are the center of the teaching. I think students tend to learn more, when the teacher is passionate and full of enthusiasm. As a Chinese saying states: "teachers are engineers of human souls." My born enthusiasm for teaching is transmitted to my students like a wave, thus it encourages and stimulates them to be more involved in class activities and in active learning. To make it short, my teaching approach can be summarized by four key sentences: Teach students how to learnindependently and acquire the ability of how to think critically. Preparation is the key for every well-taught class. Learner-centered environment creates opportunities for students to be actively involved in the learning process. Respect the goals, needs, and individuality of each student and help each to do his/her best to achieve these goals.
