Dr. Albert Huang holds a doctorate in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas, in addition to degrees in finance and civil engineering. Before coming to the University of the Pacific, he spent several years on the faculty at the University of Hawaii - Hilo. Dr. Huang has authored and co-authored research papers in the areas of user interface, end-user training, Internet messaging, and educational computer systems. His research has been published in Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, Communications of AIS, Communications of ACM, and many other research journals. He consulted to Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems while he was a research associate at the Center for Quality and Productivity at the University of North Texas. He is also a Certified Novell Engineer and the school's Learning Assessment Coordinator.
