Dr. Koppenhaver is currently the chairperson of the Department of Finance, Insurance and Law at Illinois State University. Prior to coming to Illinois State, Dr. Koppenhaver held a joint appointment as a Professor in the Finance Department and in the Economics Department at Iowa State University. While at Iowa State, he served (1993-1996, 2001-2002) as the Associate Dean responsible for the management and oversight of Iowa State University's College of Business budget and accounts. He was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as a senior economist prior to joining Iowa State University and has been an economic consultant to the Federal Reserve of Bank of Dallas.
