Will Daddario is an active theatre historiographer and performance philosopher. His research on sixteenth century Venetian theatre and performance has been published in The Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Ecumenica, and the following anthologies: Failure, Representation, and Negative Theatre (forthcoming from Routledge Press, edited by Dan Watt and Eve Katsouraki), Food and Theatre on the World Stage (co-written with Joanne Zerdy, also forthcoming from Routledge, edited by Dorothy Chansky and Ann Folino White), and Theatre/Performance Historiography: Time, Space, Matter (2105 Palgrave, eds. Rosemarie Bank and Michal Kobialka). He is currently at work on his manuscript, titled Baroque, Venice, Theatre. His work in the emerging field of Performance Philosophy has led to the compilation of two co-edited anthologies, Manifesto Now! Instructions for Performance, Philosophy, Politics (with Laura Cull for Intellect Press, 2013) and Adorno and Perfomance (with Karoline Gritzner for Palgrave, 2014). All of this research informs his teaching of theatre history, dramatic literature, and performance theory. With Wade Hollingshaus he is co-guest editor of an upcoming edition of Theatre Topics dedicated to the new pedagogical terrain opened up by the work in the field of Performance Philosophy. For this special edition, Will co-wrote an essays with Joanne Zerdy about experimental pedagogy.
