Research activities (25%) focus on potato diseases affecting seed, seed potato production technology, and working closely with the potato cultivar development program. Extension responsibilities (75%) include working with all facets of the Colorado Potato Certification program and the Strawberry Certification Service. All side-wide educational activities associated with seed potatoes and potato diseases and strawberry nursery stock production.
