Her publications appear in top-ranking social work journals. In 2009 she published a book with the American Correctional Association entitled Offenders and Substance Abuse: Bringing the Family into Focus. Dr. Lemieux’s current research, undertaken in partnership with Capital Area Human Services District, examines the integration of primary and behavioral health care for persons with mental illness and co-occurring disorders. This multi-year project is supported by $2,000,000 in funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Dr. Lemieux is an editorial review board member for Journal of Offender Rehabilitation and Journal of Social Work Practice in the Addictions.
