Assistant Professor in the Department of American Ethnic Studies, Isabel Millán specializes in critical ethnic studies, transnational feminist and queer theories, Chicana/o Latina/o literature and media, bilingual children's cultural productions, comics, and science fiction. Dr. Millán received her PhD in American Culture from the University of Michigan, and has taught at the University of Michigan, the University of Texas at Austin, and served as a teacher's assistant at San Francisco State University.
