Tatjana Jevremovic earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and her Doctorate degree from the University of Tokyo, Japan. She was with industry in Belgrade (Energorpojekt Co) and Japan (Nuclear Fuel Industries, Ltd), and in academia with the University of Tokyo and Purdue University prior to joining the University of Utah in 2009. She has published a book, Nuclear Principles in Engineering (by Springer with first edition in 2005 and second edition in 2009) and she has published nearly 100 journal and conference papers. She has been invited to give seminars to present her research on novel methods in cancer treatment specifically breast cancer, computational methodologies in neutron transport, radiation doses in space exploration, and advancement in special nuclear material detections, as well as educational methods in teaching abstract concept in reactor physics and radiation transport, in Europe, Asia, North and South America.
