Victor Bell has served as Director of the UCSB Gospel Choir since 1997. He has worked with Kirk Franklin, the late Reverend James Cleveland, Dr. Margaret Douroux and numerous others. He is CEO of Halel Entertainment which houses a music production company as well as a music school. He also serves as Minister of Music at Jubilee Christian Faith Center in Pasadena,and the Confirmed Word Faith Center in San Diego. He is director and founder of the group, Halel, which released its first CD in 1999. Under his leadership, the UCSB Gospel Choir regularly presents sold-out performances each quarter and is featured in numerous community events and University celebrations.The Choir recently produced a CD entitled Praize Party on the Yard and has been featured in the WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show. Mr. Bell is a member of GMWA (Gospel Music Workshop of America), MIA (Musicians in Action), Heritage Music Foundation, AFTRA/SAG and BMI.
