Julia Robinson-Surry, Ph.D., joins St. John’s University as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry. She earned a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from MIT and an B.A. in chemistry from Reed College. During her graduate work at MIT, she carried out research on pericyclic reactions in organic synthesis. For the past three years, Robinson-Surry has taught at Bard High School Early College Queens in Long Island City, NY.
