Brinck Kerr (B.A., University of Texas at Austin, 1988; Ph.D., Texas A&M University, 1993) has published articles on the government employment of minorities, representation, and Congressional partisanship. His current research focuses on employment patterns of women and minorities in public sector organizations. Professor Kerr’s work has appeared in many political science and public administration journals including American Journal of Political Science, Public Administration Review, Social Science Quarterly, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Urban Affairs Review, Women & Politics, The American Review of Public Administration, Administration & Society and Public Administration Quarterly. He is co-author of the book Glass Walls and Glass Ceilings: Women's Representation in State and Municipal Bureaucracies. He is the former Editor of the American Review of Politics.
