简介

I am interested in the integrated regulation of metabolism and pathogenesis in S. aureus, an important hospital- and community-acquired infectious disease agent responsible for significant morbidity and mortality in the United States and across the globe. I consider myself an interdisciplinary scientist - I use cutting-edge and genome-wide approaches including Next Generation Sequencing and Mass-Spectrometry-based metabolomics to answer fundamental questions underlying diseases of microbial origins. I was trained as a classical geneticist and biochemist, and use these important tools to validate scientific results. I welcome inquiries for collaboration across disciplines, especially in policy of global health, physics, computer science and mathematics.
