Lecturer Marc W. Modica teaches Negotiation and Communication courses in Darden's MBA program. Modica previously taught at a number of institutions, including the International University of Japan, the University of Hawaii, Edmonds and South Seattle community colleges, and the University of Washington. He has also served as a market research assistant for Seattle First National Bank and as a lecturer and consultant for Chuo Shinyo Bank in Japan.
