Dr. Youngjoo E. Kim received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, CA in 2004. After completing a general practitioner residency at St Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY, she went on to pursue a pediatric dentistry residency at New York University in 2005. She served the Bay area as a pediatric dentist in private practice for three years post-residency. In 2011 Dr. Kim joined the faculty of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Kim's research interests include dental education, laser dentistry, and pulp therapy in primary teeth. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI with her husband and two sons.
