Eddie R. Cole, an Assistant Professor in Higher Education, holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Indiana University. Previously, he was a research project associate for the Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research, where he was involved with the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement, one of the largest datasets used in the field to investigate teaching and learning on campuses. In addition to his work on faculty teaching practices, Professor Cole's research also has a historical focus on college presidents' public speeches during moments of student unrest/campus crisis.
