My research focuses on college students: the way they learn and develop as whole persons, the broad contexts and environments in which they do so, and how they experience an increasingly globalized world. I am particularly interested in the integration of learning, that is, how college students link learning across contexts. My current research agenda is very much influenced by my previous work as a student affairs administrator. I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Michigan, where I served as a researcher with the Wabash National Study of Liberal Arts Education. Associate Editor, Oracle: The Research Journal of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors; Board of Directors, Center for the Study of the College Fraternity; Faculty Fellow, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity (faculty advisor for chapter at W&M)
