Dr. David Balok is an Adjunct Assistant in the Rossier School of Education’s Master of Arts in Teaching Program since 2000. Dr. Balok has a 32-year career in the Los Angeles Unified School District with 25 years managing secondary guidance programs. His school-based experience strengthens the practical preparation of USC students. Dr. Balok served as faculty lead in the Master of Arts in School Counseling Program in 2009 and has taught a number of different courses in that program. Recently, he supervises students completing practicum and fieldwork credential requirements. Dr. David Balok received his EdD at the University of Southern California in 1981.
