Dr. Uju Anya is Assistant Professor of Clinical Education in the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program, and she also teaches and coordinates courses in the Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology, and Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership programs. She specializes in sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, and second language acquisition (SLA) with particular focus on race, gender, sexual, and social class identities in the language classroom. She also has expertise in diversity, power, equity, and inclusion in educational policy and curriculum design, as well as service-learning and civic engagement in secondary and university-level language pedagogy.
