Jing Lei's research interests include high-dimensional data analysis such as theory and methodology in sparse principal components analysis, functional data, and large-scale multiple hypotheses testing with application in genetics. He has also been working on state space models in high dimensional data assimilation, nonparametric and distribution free inferences, and data privacy.
