.A. in Spanish Literature and Linguistics, Universidad de Chile (1989-1993) M.A. in General Literature, Universidad de Chile (1995-1998) PhD. in Spanish, University of Iowa (2003-2009) Professor Gómez is a Chilean Poet that has widely published his creative work both in Latin America and Europe. He did his B.A. and Master in Universidad de Chile, his alma mater. His PhD is from The University of Iowa.
