Dr. Quick comes to the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry from a rich academic and professional background. Her experience in private practice provides a foundation for teaching both on and off the clinic floor. She is inspired by her student’s enthusiasm for dentistry and finds teaching to be a great educational opportunity. Dr. Quick leads one of the pre-doctoral clinic groups and teaches clinical dental ethics to third and fourth year students. Dr. Quick’s research interests include the application of decision theory in dentistry and ethics. Current projects look at educational processes, hidden-curriculum, and relationship-centered care
