Biography: Research in my lab is focused on the transport of aromatic acids in plants and fungi. Studies of the role of the transport of the hormone auxin in programmed and plastic plant development are central to this research. That research integrates structural biology, modeling, biochemistry, cell biology, comparative systems biology, and molecular genetics to connect molecular mechanisms to plant development and responses to biotic and abiotic stresses.
