Professor Ahuja serves as Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering and President and CEO of Innovative Scheduling. He specializes in mathematical modeling, state-of-the-art network optimization techniques, and solving large-scale scheduling problems arising in logistics and transportation. He has developed innovative models and algorithms for several airline scheduling, railroad scheduling, and logistics problems that were previously considered intractable. Many of these algorithms are implemented using state-of-the-art decision support systems through his company.
