Dr. Sisay Aberra, MD+ is currently an associate professor of Pediatric and Child Health and Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at University of Gondar. He was born in North Gondar, Ethiopia (where his family still resides) and followed his undergraduate studies at the then Gondar College of Medicine and Health Sciences and graduate education at Addis Ababa University. He received his certificate of Specialty in Pediatric and Child Health from Addis Ababa University in 2003. Until 2009, he held the Head, School of Medicine appointment. Since 2009 he has worked as the Dean of College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Gondar.
